“Finding Purpose and Power in Midlife: A Guide for Women”

This course is for women at midlife who want to get more joy and purpose out of each day of their lives. At some point in our lives, usually around 45 years old, our world begins to change. Physically, we may be hitting menopause, that is, the time in our life when we transition from our childbearing / child rearing years come to a close. We may have physical symptoms like hot flashes and difficulties with brain fog, mood-swings and depression. Our parents may be aging, and our children may be leaving home. If we our married, it may seem like somehow, connecting can be difficult. It's easy to believe at this time, that there is nothing left to look forward to, because in our western youth-oriented culture, we may feel like our "primary" role as women is over. But no matter at what point in midlife we are, this time of life brings us the opportunity, perhaps the first time, to put focus on ourselves and determining what we want out of life. I
